Ingredients

  • 1poundground Italian sausage
  • 1 ½teaspoonsred pepper flakes
  • 1largewhite onion, diced
  • 4stripsbacon, diced
  • 2teaspoonsgarlic puree
  • 10cupswater
  • 5cubes chicken bouillon
  • 1poundrusset potatoes, diced
  • 1cupheavy whipping cream
  • ¼bunchkale, chopped

    Gather all ingredients.

    Combine sausage and red pepper flakes in a skillet over medium heat; cook and stir until sausage is brown and crumbly, 7 to 10 minutes. Drain excess fat; transfer sausage to a bowl and set aside.
