Ingredients

  • 5poundsapples, peeled, cored, and thinly sliced
  • 1 ½tablespoonsground cinnamon
  • ½teaspoonground cloves
  • ¼teaspoonground nutmeg

  • Directions

    Layer apples in a slow cooker; sprinkle cinnamon, cloves, and nutmeg evenly over top. Cover the slow cooker.

    Cook on High until apples are soft, 4 to 5 hours. Vigorously whisk apples for a chunkier-style applesauce. Purée with an immersion blender for a smoother applesauce.
